Re: noobie question for credit cards

The chances are that the interest rate on a credit card will be more than on your overdraft. If so, you wil be better simply setting yourself a budget/target to reduce your overdraft each month until it has gone.

If it is spending that is out of control, then getting more credit is the worst possible option.

    noobie question for credit cards

    Hello,

I am a young 21 year old working full time at tesco, I have recently moved out with my partner however im still pretty new to credit. Over the years i have used my overdraft, i have contracts and payment plans i to think my credit score is good. Recently i have had to go deep into my overdraft and i fear it is out of controll, i want to stop it here

I have been concidering using a credit card to put my overdraft dept into and then paying it off month to month. I need advice is this a good idea?? And what are the best credit cards for my predicament??

Ohh its only about £500 worth so its not much just i have rent and out goings so i cant afford to pay it out right.

    Thank you for your time

    Liam
