I guess that explains why the word 'abbreviation' is so long and why 'dyslexia' is difficult to spell!!

Re: No question we cannot answer?

Seeing as though we're talking about questions no one can answer....

....then maybe someone can answer this question thats been bugging me for years...

Why is it when you send something via ship, it's called 'cargo', yet when you send it by car it's called a 'shipment'?

According to predictions, next week is going to be naff, but the rest of August should be very good.

But like all predictions, I wont be convinced until it happens.

Re: No question we cannot answer?

As i am currently on leave from work could someone answer a question for me? Does anyone have the foggiest as to when we are going to get a week of unbroken sunshine? As i type the heavens have opened and are hammering on the porch roof. As one of my foreign ( sometimes half dressed) military types said to me the other day it is "liquid sunshine in England".

Ooh does that contradict the saying 'Beauty is only skin deep'...

Beautiful has only ever had a literal meaning for me, but you can only be beautiful if it is a natural beauty.

Anything that makes me smile is worth it and admitedly have laughed out loud on some of these posts.

Beautiful is not what you see but that inner light that shines from a truely "beautiful" person. Inner beauty lasts a life time outer until time or the surgeon decides otherwise

Here is a question for you all, before Dave gets in another riddle:-

Catastrophica:Strangely enough, a discussion on paint rollers was not quite what I had in mind!! :-)

Your discussion point was about unanswered posts. But if any one does a search on the site for paint rollers it brings them to this post. There may be some poor soul out there wondering whether or not to dispose of a paint roller with all its associated carbon footprinting. We can aid and assist them in their plight, therefore prevents a possible un answered post in the future!!!

Re: No question we cannot answer?

Yes but it's a nice distraction while we all get to those unanswered posts that you first pointed out!!

Re: No question we cannot answer?

Agreed on not washing rollers. My time is worth more than the pence of a new one. Plus, if you are efficient enough, you should be able to get the job done in one go rather than having the need to clean/replace the roller cartridge.
