I believe that the NCD is ok, provided that you Insure another vehicle in the next 2 years. Your next Insurers will ask you for your NCD proof from your last Insurers and a letter to confirm that gap.

Hi All,

My car insurance policy has just expired and this year only I do not intend to insure my car as I hope to sell it. Can anyone tell me what will happen to the 11 years no claims bonus I have amassed? Will I simply lose them? Or is there anything I can do to keep hold of them? Or do they just stay with me until I next insure a vehicle?
