    Nintendo DS - memory

We have just bought a pair of these for our own use - Can someone please confirm the type of memory that they use - is it "standard" Compact Flash or some proprietary memory type ?

The DS uses a special type of card made by Ninty. You can obtain a special card which you can transfer games onto - but, as for general memory, such as photos, videos and so forth, this is a PSP feature. Hope this helps :)

    Thanks Moomin21

There appears to be 2 memory slots and the instructions are non-existant on how to use them - any ideas ?

The slot that takes the program card and a larger one on the front - covered by a removable cover

Isn't the larger slot the GBA slot for GameBoy Advance games?

As far as I know there is no standalone memory slot for the DS as it doesn't have a built-in capacity for photographs and so on.
