    Re: NHS Cash Benefit Claims

I suppose it depends what the £100 is being paid to cover. If it's to cover some specific expenses, then you shouldn't claim twice. If it's a lump sum payment, then it may be reasonable to claim both amounts. It would be worth asking the question to the insurers before making any claim.

    NHS Cash Benefit Claims

Hi all, i have a conundrum.

I have 2 medical insurance policies, on with Bupa from my previous employer which expires this month and one from WPA my new employer which is current.

They both offer a NHS cash benefit service of £100 per night, i recently spent 6 nights in hospital which qualifies for a NHS cash benefit claim totalling £600. My quandry is can i claim from both policies (£600 each totalling £1200) or would this be against the law in which case i would choose one policy and make one claim for £600. Obviously if i chose 1 company i would go with Bupa so i still have my full WPA entitlement for the remainder of the year.
