Chev1:Help I leased a Ford Focus Sport in Dec 06 over a month ago it decided to give up and has been in the garage ever since waiting to parts i.e. new block crankshaft etc. etc. No one wants to know I am going round and round with Ford who have eventually given me a car to use but still no dates for delivery of parts despite me calling and chasing Ford Assist.  The lease company are not interested what can i do.

Ah the joyus Ford Focus SPORT.

    I'd've chosen to walk.

I had a little go in one of those and as painful as it is to admit... I'd prefer a Vauxhall Astra!! Shameful, I know!

Good point above about the lease payments, threaten to take the difference off Ford, give them a kick up the a**.

You should be thankful that they've given you a car to use in the interim, at least that's a start! Keep hounding the service manager and the customer relationship department at Ford (0845 841 1111 if you didn't have the number).

Chev1 --- Legally as they have lent you a car there is not a great deal you can do, except to keep hounding them and being a nuiscance, until you get them to motivate themselves properly and show some interest.

If the car they have lent you is an inferior car, you could find out what the lease payments on that car actually would cost, then tell them you are only prepared to pay that lower amount, if that was the case, until your normal car is back on the road, that may pressure them into getting your car sorted quite a bit faster.
