I dont think you will have any problems obtaining another card but watch out for the "transfer fee's" They can be as little as 1% to about 4% of the balance you would be transfering.

Click the purple " MONEY box at the top left and compare the credit cards on offer. Also look out for how long they are interest free for.

    New credit card

    Hello,

How easy is it to get a new credit card in this economic situation? I have got one credit card with a limit on it of £2000, I was offered more a year ago, but did not want to get a big credit limit.

However, after 1 year my Bank started to charge an interest for purchases. I am thinking of getting another credit card with a limit of 3 or £4000 with 0% transfers and 0% purchases for 12 months.

My credit history is good as I have never missed payments or repayments.

Shall I have any problems with applying for a new credit card?

    Thanks all for your advices!
