Nope, I had the same problem. BT hook up the line, then Bulldog take them over and you no longer have a BT line so you need to be reconnected before moving to Sky.

As for the £125, have you confirmed it with them, I think it only applies if you have been without BT for a long time...

I'm about to move my broadband/phone service from bulldog to Sky, but as i try to type my phone i get an error that its not a bt line.

about a year and half ago i moved in to a new flat without a previous active phone line, so i signed up with bulldog who activated the phone line, but if i remember correctly it where BT engineers who connected the line.

anyway my question is, do i need to pay that stupid £125 fee to get connected with bt to enable sky broadband?

is there another way around this problem?
