I've never had a credit card before but would like it to have the following:

* An offer of 6-12 months interest free on 'purchases'.

* No anual fee

* Between 20 to 60 day period of free credit (starting from statement? Not sure how this works).

* No sneaky and horrible stuff in the small print

* The interest rate isn't too important as I'm hoping to cancel the card when the 6-12 month offer ends (maybe). So it'll be a way of borrowing for free for under a year.

* Charges don't matter as I wont go over the card limit.

* Balance transfers don't matter all that much because I don't own another card.

Any help, or anything else I should know would be great. People who've had good experiences with a card that meets the above would be extra good to hear.
