I'm sorry you've had problems amending your quote, and I do agree with you that there's nothing more frustrating that having to go all the way through a quote process only to have to start it all over again for the sake of one detail.

The good news here is that this is something we recognise as a potential area for problems and we are looking to implement a new piece of functionality later in the year which will help resolve this problem.

I have just had the misfortune to go through the rigmarole that is moneysupermarkets dot com's car insurance quote sytem.

I decided to modify a small part of the query, as I may have made an error, and it seems this is not possible without going through the whole process again.

Is there some short cut I am missing? I am surely not the only person who has had this unfortunate experience.

For instance, if I were looking to buy a new car and I wanted to get a range of quotes for different cars, then a simple way to change the vehicle details, or the level of cover required would be a good idea, or am I the only person who has thought of this?

If that is so, then I must be pretty special? I don't think so.
