it really doesnt surprise me at all. Stephen, why dont you come clean and explain Talktalks policy with existing customers and the switching of lines to higher contention rates (slower speeds, more problems like dropping out etc.)?

Talktalk are the worst ISP i have had the displeasure of dealing with. You know the old addage, 'nothing in this life is free'. Talktalk make up the numbers with premuim rate support lines to inexperienced support staff, you end up spending more on calls than your broadband costs as they pass you from department to department, BEWARE. And i am talking from experience.

I have had similar problems. Was once a strong advocate of talktalk broadband, as if it worked it would be good value for money.

As it is, the nice Sky man comes tomorrow. What irritated me most was that every time I phoned, the reason my broadband didn't work was be cause i had - and I quote - "an unauthorised third party router". That would be the
Belkin one CPW sold me as an official TalkTalk package router etc kit would it??!

Grrrr. Now just annoyed that as I paid TT line rental, it will take longer to go to sky, and I may be broadband-less for a couple of weeks. Deeply annoying.

is there a car phone warehouse in your area ? any problems i have had in the past was sorted out by their helpful staff. it helps, if like me you are elderly and appear totally thick re.computers.(which i am). after my problem was resolved i rewarded them with a nice bottle of wine, it was much appreciated, plus they will remember me in case any further problems arise...

at first my talttalk internet was about 6mbps, now it is about 2 and the interent disconnects it self every min

i rang up broadband help line but i got and indian man who didnt speak much english, so i rang up customer services and the muppet on the phone said there was nothing wrong with the internet

so i tried finding out myself what was wrong so i click diagnose and repair but the internet just came back on and said there was no problem so after about 10 attmpts eventually it said i was curently experiencing a network connectivity problem

CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!!
