    Re: Mounting Debt

To be honest from the information you have given you have left it too late and an iva maybe the only way.

    Or

Can you get a part time job ? some form of small additional income ?

You need to make sure that you have the Cheapest credit in all areas ?

Can you switch your morgage to intrest only ?

Can you reduce your mobile phone contract ?

Given the poor credit history and the Fact your partner is in an Iva i think you might be as well going into an Iva or Going Bankcrupt and starting afresh.

Sorry to be negative but i think its too late the key is to act early and reduce your costs, Maximize your income and be deciplined with your spending

    good luck

Can you move loans and credit cards to Intrest free providers ?

    Mounting Debt

    Hi

I desperately need some advice. My husband is in an IVA, and i now am finding it hard to keep up with my repayments on the debt i have. It totals £15000 between credit cards and a loan. Up until this month i have been able to pay the minimum payment and not get into trouble, but now one of my credit cards has gone over, so thay have put a charge on, plus interest and this takes me further over, and the minimum payment is due by the 7th Dec and i simply cannot afford it.

What can i do? I really dont want to get into an IVA, I cannot get a loan because of previous credit searches and due to this I cant get a credit card with 0% neither.

    I need help!

    Thanks Dawn.
