Next year I am hoping to change my car for Motability, but I was wondering is it best to sell my old car privately or would the dealer make me an offer instead. Has any other motability users been in the same situation. Thank you.

Never dealt with them but you usually always get a better price by selling a car privately, compared to trading it as a part exchange with the dealer who will want to offer you less. However if you are uncomfortable with the idea of selling privately, doing a P/X with the dealer is more convenient and usually less hassle. !
