Very unlikely. Depends on the country and your residential status. It *is* however possible to get 100% funding of the project through re-mortgaging a current property to get a deposit and then taking out a 70% (ish) mortgage overseas. Be aware though that the overseas mortgage market isn't nearly as developed as the UK market, and "self-cert" mortgages are much more difficult to come by.

I am a bit too old (58) & now disabled, to get a mortgage in the U.K, & being a bit disillusioned by this Country, was thinking of making a move - before it's way too late !!! Actually, you can get a mortgage in this country no problem. There are a number of lenders who will lend up to an over 85 years old. An independent advisor should be able to help you with that.
