It might just be that with two mortgages the loan companies feel you are over exposed and see you as a bad risk. They are being very cautious at the moment.

Hi i currently have a mortgage, but ive recently taken out a mortgage on another property, however i needed to make up the deposit using a loan, i was told at the time that the 2nd mortgage would not have an impact on my credit and that i should be ok to apply for a loan, however ive tried 3 times to get a loan, and im not too sure why they have rejected it.

Is there any truth that the mortgage application / mortgage shouldnt have any impact for 90days before being registered on my credit file?
