    Re: Mortgage rate

    Thanks for your advice

I can see I need to go into this a little further maybe with my current lender or seek advice from an independant advisor. My husband is in discussion with someome about this at the moment, so we can see what we can gain from that. Just wanted to get the ball rolling in changing to a better deal.

     Thanks once again,

    Littlec

    Re: Mortgage rate

    There is more information needed

The rate anyone would give you is decided by a range of things

Income, Loan to value, previous credit history, employment status, type of property, age/term of mortgage, other debts - to name a few.

But it does sound like you are on a lenders variable rate and even that lender should have better rates.

    Mortgage rate

    Hi

I'm new to this forum business and a little unsure if what I can ask, so here goes......

At the moment I am on a variable rate mortgage with an interest rate of 7.8400%, My loan amount is £70,080 and my monthly repayments are £597.77 a month. Can anyone suggest or recommend a better deal on this as I feel this is a little high and from speaking to friends feel I should seek some advice and try to get a better deal.

     any suggestions welcome, Thanks
