Your best option would be to find a broker who will negotiate a policy to meet your circumstances. Use the BIBA site http://www.biba.org.uk/ConsumerHome.aspx to find one.

The difficulty will be that you are having regular treatment and how this may affect your employment. Insurers would require some confirmation in your employment contract as to how your employers deal with time off work and pay.

    Mortgage protection help.

    Hi,

basically me and my gf are just about to move into a place. We havent sorted out any mortgage protection yet as we wanted to see what was around first.

first thing is that I have a medical condition (mobility) that mean that sometimes in the year I am out for say around 4 weeks overall for operations etc. are there any mortgage protection companies out there that will cover me?

also another thing I was told was that some companies out there are just swine. He said that if say I have an accident i.e fall over and injure a different part of my body other than my leg which is the pre condition, they may tie this back to it and say you fell over due to the leg so its not covered for out of work. Is this true? and if it is doesnt that mean that they can do this about anything?

any advice would be truley grateful and I would prefrebly like a company who deals with pre conditions and is sympathetic.

    thanks,

    Josh
