Go to an Independent local mortgage broker. There were a few 95% mortgages available according to other posters. One company offering these was the Clydesdale. Have a look at their online site and give them a call to see whether they are still available. Another poster said they were very helpful.

Having real difficulty finding a 95% LTV mortgage that doesn't need a guarantee from parents. Our scenario is that we have a Buy-to-let property rented out. Currently we are looking to by a house to live in but can't see any 95% available. Selling the BTL house is not an option because of the current housing market, does anyone know of any mortgages that fits the bill?
