Scott please help with this one...
I am still waiting after over 3 months for my £30 cash-back - from signing up for scottish power dual fuel
On investigation - I discovered that the money comes - not from scottish power - but from moneysupermarket - One assumes that moneysupermarket gets paid at least £30 by scottish power for getting me to sign on the dotted line
I emailed a woman in "Utilities Advise" and was told a week ago that due to the bank holiday, there had been a delay, and that the £30 would definately appear in my bank account by Friday (last week) - Did it ? NOPE !!
So I emailed her again - to be told that the money had been paid on 2nd May and blamed my bank for losing the money
I suggested that they provide me with a reference number to confirm that the money was deposited in MY account - not someone else with a similar name
I will update the forum when this is sorted
As for reasons that I do not phone them - I have a speech problem so this would be difficult - if not impossible !!!
