I see no reason why it shouldn't be suitable.

Yes we know that but would this be a suitable phone?

The main thing is that the phone is unlocked and will therefor accept any sim card. You should consider getting a sim card in the country that you will be visiting for use while there.

When in the UK, you can call India for 1p per minute with a LebaraMobile or a LycaMobile Sim card in your phone. Bangladesh and Nepal are more expensive to call.

We shall shortly be going to the above places. We need a new mobile but dont want to spend more than £50. We would like to check email and occasionally websites. We are thinking of Galaxy Apollo will this work to meet our requirements. Is there a better alternative? We favour pay as you go as usage when at home is very low.
