    Re: Mobile Phone Contract

    Regardless of what happens angel,
Best advice i can give on phones is to get hooked up with that new free direct enquiries company doing 118 services from your mobile
you pay a £2.50 one off fee then unlimited direct enquiries for tariff rate only and free texts.

i got sorted this morning off here !! pass it on

    Re: Mobile Phone Contract

most networks have either a 6/9/12 month downward migration policy, i think orange is 6 month, but dont hold me to that. You can buy out early, but you literally have to buy out; pay the remaining line rental, and sometimes a cancellation fee.

T-Mobile, dispite having the flexibility of Flext, only has an 11/17 month downward migration, depending on if it is a 12/18 month contract. Three, on the other hand, has brought out a £25 or 6 month extension to contract clause to downward migration...

I work in a high street multi-network retailer, so have access to all networks; three has dropped in our popularity immensely after this happened!

having said that, many of the stores i work for will offer a cash assist to buy you out; usually around £50 - £80. Not a massive help, but better than nothing!

You should be able to change your price plan to something more suitable. Phone up your custmoer services and tell them you want to change you price plan.

You cannot change from Orange to another provider yet. You'll have to see out your 12/18 month contract.

    Mobile Phone Contract

Does anyone know whether you can revise a phone contract downwards after 6 months? I have been missold a phone contract by an Orange dealer and they had said that that was the best deal avaliable but I was too stupid and lazy to check. There are many price plans out there that are far far better than mine.

Now I am lumbered with a price plan that doesnt suit me and its costing me a lot money every month. I want to revise the plan downwards and go to another supplier. Is there anything about doing this after 6 months? My friend thinks this is the law.

    Please advise if you know.
