Good Afternoon again. I should also point out that Phonebox Communications also has nothing whatsover to do with Phoneboxdirect who went bust late last year. We're a midlands based retailer and B2B mobile communications company of some 15 years standing; they started up a few years ago in Nottingham purely as an off the page reseller - unfortunatelty their choice of name has done us no good!

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

Good Afternoon, I'm Nigel Harrison the Managing Director of Phonebox Communications Limited. I have this morning had a customer of Mobile Outlet's turn up at our Head Office as a result of your irresponsible and completely inaccarurte post. We are an extremely long established, well respected and financially unquestioned mobile communication retailer and we are not being 'looked into' by Orange. Further, we are not associated or tied to Mobile outlet in any way and we don't 'deal with their claims'. Because we fulfilled a small number of phones for them last year we are more than happy to assist in whatever we we can to put customers in touch with them. Given the above may I ask that you desist in posting our address all over the internet and retract your suggestions. If you want further clarification of our position you can email me directly at nigel.harrison AT the-phonebox.co.uk

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

The mobile outlet is never recommended. My 1st cash back was due in Sept and I haven't yet received any cash back. I have called them up thrice and everytime I got the same answer. After sending the recorded delivery also they are not giving the cash back as per the contract. They did the same thing for 2nd Cash back.

The mobile outlet is NEVER recommanded. Thank you.

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

    Hi All,

I have just come across this forum and wanted to share my views you. I have a lot of knowledge on this subject and think i can help on the matter. The mobile phone cash back issue has become "the" biggest consumer issue in the current time. Many retailers have gone bust without paying their customers, some examples are:

    dialamobile - 90,000 customers

    phonebox - 39,000 customers

clickmobile and simply mobiles - do not know the exact figure but huge number of customers

Many more retailers are struggling to pay their customers.

The operators are the real culprits, some more than others. It appears that they are trying to put their agents out of business and are using underhanded tricks to do so. My belief is that customers and the agents are the victim of this issue. The operators need to be held to account for this problem and all customers must be paid what is owed to them and the responsibility lies with the operators. The operators are being ruthless and shameless in their approach. I saw a programme recently on watchdog and it was obvious the operators are acting very badly towards their agents and their customers.

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

Hi I took out contract phone with mobile outlet in January another in Febuary for my daughter. I have had to email and phone each time for cash back. Once went to trading standards they phoned and my cash back was paid within two days. I am up to cash back number three for first phone , sent bills special delivery on 2nd October had an email on 7th November saying they had received them. Another on 8th saying they were successful, but payment wont be for another 45 days. Had a letter after sending bills 5,6,and7 saying I had not sent complete bills bottom copy missing. I know I sent them all special delivery as well. This was for second phone, have been to trading standards again this time they told me to go though small claims court. As I have sent them Two letters as well as emails and phone calls. No reply from letters only auto response from email. In fact sent an email on 22nd November the reply read I am away on leave will reply when I return on 5th November.

How many threads do these whingeing gamblers need? You took a punt that you were entering at the top of a pyramid. It is in the nature of gambling that there is a likelihood you will lose! Turns out you lost! Tough. Don't be so stupid/greedy next time.

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

I think seanjoe that you should consider yourself very lucky if they do. I have now had 2 such emails after waiting 3 months from my cashback being accepted. Now my queries are answered with an automated response saying my query will be dealt with within 3 days but they are not responded to. Ever the optimist though I have sent my next cash back in. No doubt they will say I have not sent my 7th bill if they bother to reply at all. Good luck.

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

All cashback customers need to unite to put pressure on the networks. If we do this there will be thousands of customers fighting together and then we are more likely to be hear and get the publicity we need to resolve this. I have set up a thread about a protest at the operators and at Ofcom. The more people that come I am sure will help us resolve this.

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

    Hi there.

I ordered direct from mobile outlet.

I sent my claim for months 1-4 on 30 august for my one phone.
I sent my claim for months 8-9 at end of august.

I have still not got the cash back. The have acknowledged by email, but when i call, they keep saying for the past few weeks that it will be credited into my bank account.

does anyone know whether i have to wait any longer or should i start filing a case? if so, please advise what the contact numbers are to file a case?

    thanks
    sean
