    miss-sold car

if you purchase a car from a main dealer and discover the car has had previous accident or damage repair which they didn't make you aware of - are you within your rights to terminate the contract, send the car back and demand a refund?

    Re: miss-sold car

Most cars get some sort of bump at some time in their lives. Unless the dealer clearly stated the car has never had any serious damage repaired or the car is not "fit for purpose", then I can see no reason why you should be entitled to return the car. If the damage was properly repaired, then it's likely to be something that you'll have to live with. If you only bought the car recently, it might be worth contacting the dealer to see if they are willing to do anything to help you.

If the car has been listed as damaged then the garage has an obligation to tell you about it. I'm on about the type of damage that would appear on a HPI check (Cat D or C for example). A small bump which has been repaired satisfactorily is not subject to these obligaitons as Maxsteam has said.

What is the level of damage - and has it been recorded by the insurer as extensive damage / uneconomical repair?
