daryl1987:Business mileage is classed as driving to other places of work other than one fixed place. Driving to one single workplace every day is classed as commuting as should be included in your standard annual mileage. Business mileage is only required if you require business insurance.

Have question regarding the mileage information for the insurance quotes on here.

Obviously if I'm using the vehicle for commuting as well as personal use, I'd choose "SDP & commuting" from the drop down box, but my question is the next part: "Estimated annual mileage (excluding any business mileage)".

Can someone tell me what is meant by business mileage? To me that means the total mileage excluding the commuting distance to and from work. Can someone confirm or correct me on that.

If I'm right then the commuting distance definitely doesn't need to be included for the estimated mileage.

Sorry if that's a stupid question, just wanted clarification.
