Have recently returned to the outside world from the Big House on Welford Road but I feel duty bound to visit Max on behalf of all the unhappy customers, one of them who happens to be a very good friend.

Re: MIH Communications cashback con
well, i still haven't received my money and im gonna take them to court. its frustratin cos i really wanna take them to court but just can't find the time to visit CAB and get more information about the process. does anyone know how easy it is to use the online small claims court system? and someone told me that i can get a refund on my fees once i win the case. is this true? i know that mih have given out a few chqs recently. unfortunately i haven't had the time to pay them another visit recently. i have a feelin these chqs are gonna get returned unpaid. any help on the small claims court thingy is appreciated.

Re: MIH Communications cashback con
hi Has anyone heard anything further from MIH. I have had a letter from debt collectors. I still do not intend to pay, as i have taken legal advice and as there is a dispute the debt collectors have no right to enter the property as it is trepass. they use tactics to scare us as if they do not get the money, Orange do not pay them.

I had a contract from them on t-mobile just about a year ago, I've had problems with a cashback deal in Leicester also from a shop called Letz Talk, It doesn't take a genius to workout these so called companies are not going bust, they are made to go bust,
Its rubbish if they're asking you to come another date to collect you're cashback, thats what happened to me before the Letz Talk shop closed on belgrave road in Leicester.
Seema: Its great to see you took out the time to complain and contact Leicester Mercury, Note: This post has been moderated. Please ensure you read the moneysupermarket.com User Community Standards and Terms of Service before posting. Thanks.

Tamina, if you're talking to me, dont gimme no attitude you got that? I wasn't talking to you or anything on the forum was I? And so WHAT if the contract I took out was free? You got a problem with that? YOU gimme money next time for a contract and I will happily walk into carephone warehouse to get one from them. Till then, keep your mouth shut and dont be so insulting to people just because they may have got a contract for free, you're trying to basically say its our fault we got conned Money doesn't grow on tree's, and not everybody has that kind of money to go around blowing it on contracts that cost over £300 for just one year, its alot of money for me to spend on a contract as I was only a student back then. No need to insultive about it and blame things on us, and besides, I wasn't talking to you or haven't been rude to you have I? We never asked for any of this, and just because its free doesn't mean we deserve to get conned out of our hard earned money. I suggest you get that into your head. And in future, dont be rude with me again, specially if i wasn't talking to you on this forum. Thank you. Guys, can we please keep this thread updated with anymore information, im sure other people are in a similar situation to us and would appreciate more info.

this wasnt just meant for you directly i just posted it i didnt relise it went as a replay to you. And as for you thinking am being rude a dont think i am i belive mih have offered alternate methods of what they can do, it looks like the company are trying but there not given a chance if they where a con they would have closed down by now like other companies. And dont try and threaten me cause am too mature to stoop down to your level!!!

Hay ripped off ppl, i got a update for you. A friend gave me a article from last weeks leicester mercury. The headline says 'Public should steer clear of mobile cash-back deals' as if we all dont already know. I'm not gonna write it all down, but it tells you about all the shops that have closed down in leicester, owing thousands of pounds on cash back deals. To their credit mih haven't closed down yet, but i still haven't had a penny!! so the last paragraph says - Trading standards officers urge customers who have fallen foul of cash-back deals should get in touch. Call Consumer Direct on 08454 040506. Also Call the reporter Jenny Cornish on 0116 222 4278 as she asks "Have you been affected by the dodgy deals?" Dont be shy give her a call. I did!!
