    Seema:

    ok thanks

i am in the process of writing a letter. If you want a format let me know

     Thanks

     Seema

hey seema and sohan (also seear),

read all ur replies with a lot of interest. i must say im getting excited at all this talk about action against MIH. I have written a draft of a complaint letter too. if you can send a copy of your letter seema, it would be much appreciated. im gonna go to CAB and trading standards today. im with t-mobile and i have 2 contracts. since i only took it out in march, i can't even downgrade it till sept and therein lies my next problem. t-mobile says i cant downgrade it till the 11th month but on the back of my t-moby bill, it says i can d/g after 6 months. now i dunno if they'l change this come sept and if so,that means im well and truly screwed if i dont get my original cash back offer from MIH. at the same time, i dont see why i should suffer a financial loss and d/g contracts just to please MIH through no fault of mine. as per my above posts, i havent signed such a contract. i e-mailed trading standards and they say it looks like i have a case for the small claims court so im gonna go to TS and get some more advice today. also sohan, if u go to TS website and enter ur postcode, it'l giv u all the details. seema's given u the details above and here are the details again -

    Leicester City Council
    Consumer Protection Service
    New Walk Centre
    Welford Place

lets take these b******s to the cleaners! max also made disparaging remarks about gujarati's. im not a gujarati but still felt offended at the way he talked about his customers with me. spread the word. lets bring them down!

    Re: MIH Communications

    Hi all

This is what i wrote in the letter:

    MIH Communications

    345 East Park Road

    Leicester

    LE5 5HL

    Dear whom it may concern

I write further to your letter to confirm to you that I am considering legal proceedings against you and your company for breach of contractual agreements.

Your company owes me over £620 in cash backs over 3 contracts.  I have been into your store on several occasions.  Every time I was told I would receive it soon. I am still waiting.

All of my friends and family who have taken a contract with you are in a similar position.  In fact when I have enquired about your company it seems you do this to everyone.  I happen to work within the Judicial System and such a clear case of fraud cannot go unchecked.

My contract is with you and not the third party. When entering into the contract I was not told that a third party would be issuing the cash back. Therefore there has been misrepresentation. It was false statement of fact made by a MIH employee to me and had the effect of inducing me into the contract

This has caused me a considerable amount of distress, worry and upset, not to mention financial problems

If you wish prevent any further legal proceedings then I demand that the sum £620 is put into my account within 14 days.

    Yours Faithfully

I've been told by orange, that if I've taken out a 6 month contract, I have to pay for the full 18 months.

    Re: MIH Communications

I have been reading all the posts in relation to mobile connections,

I am afraid the boat is about to sail, "ALAN" is a fall guy, the company will be going bust very soon, that is why they have taken the cash backs now to every four months so they can get away with more capital ( British law cannot touch international bank accounts), the same people who started mobile connections still own mobile connections, but now that the business is not the same as it use to be it is time to cash in and guess what if you have contract with them get your money fast or you are not going to get a penny. The reason cash backs are always late is due to the fact that they invest YOUR money in other projects i.e. properties and when some revenue comes back they pay cash backs. How do you think they can do such great offers?, they are always at a loss. That is until they don’t pay cash backs and invest your money. It is unfortunate that law will protect them and they will get away with millions, while we are left chasing some poor guy who got paid a few grand to put his name on a piece of paper and take the fall. Hopefully one day they shall to have the same done to them. I suggest a web site with a petition, so the authorities get involved and actually prosecute the actual people behind the curtain before its too late.

     peace out.....

I am with you every step of the way….more to come ..watch this space…HARRY

    Re: MIH Communications

    Hey,

    What's happening every one?

Ornage want almost £4,000 or more to cancel the contracts!

Can't afford that, and cant afford to risk 4 months of payment and max decides to run.

    Re: MIH Communications

    hello guys,

how are you all? not had the chance to check the post in the last few days. i went to trading standards last week and they suggested i write a complaint letter ( which i had already done and handed over to mubeena that morning) and also suggested that i send a letter to t-mobile outlining that they are also responsible for the cashback deal as the contract i signed was with t-mobile and the girl at MIH wrote the cash back terms on the contract before i signed it. i haven't had the time yet but i will persue this line of thought in the next few days. i dont know how successfull i will be though cos its t-mobile. meanwhile, i still haven't received my money and am thinking of writing them another letter threatening legal action. i even had a dream last night where MIH was closing down!!! previously i wrote to leicester mercury but i'm not quite sure if it reached them cos my pc played up a bit when i tried to submit it.

i dont know if i'm ever gonna get any joy from MIH. why dont we all go to MIH with our grievances at the same time and cause a commotion??
