Thanks Guys, took your advice and rang them.
I cant add it to the 0% but I checked the rate and i'm on around 1.2% a month, so it should be no more than 60p a year on the £4.
    So relieved!

As welshez8903 suggest, it may mean you end up paying interest in the £4. It shouldn't effect your 0% deal on the BT. Even if you're on 35% APR for purchases (the highest rate I've heard of from MBNA), because it's only £4, it would only work out at about 10p a month or so!

NatWest made an offer to me for purchases. I had to register by phone - which I did. Well, I got the 0% deal - but it seems to have start from the following day. I spent a few quid the evening I registered. So I now get an interest bill of about 21p a month in respect of the first day's purchases - repayments are being credited against the 0% purchases first.

Hi, it shouldn't actually stop the 0% interest rate, but it may mean that the purchase amount on the card starts to accrue interest, and depending on the interest rate your purchases are on,it may mean you get into a sticky situation. Just don't worry. All I would advise is to call up and check because when I worked for them up until a few months ago, there were instances whereby you do a 0% Balance transfer, make a purchase at 15.9%apr, then you start accruing interest on the purchase and then the payments will get allocated to any promo rates first, so that'd mean your 0% bt payment would have to be cleared before you even touched upon that £4. Although, if it was a genuine mistake, sometimes that can be resolved and a small amount such as £4 MAY be able to be included into the 0% promo rate as courtesy so you avoid interest.Although that depends what they say when you call up as it wasn't something that is done all the time, only in certain circumstances.

    Might Sound a dumb question...

but, I have been paying off a credit card debt through a 0% balance card. I have not made any purchases on the card, until the other day I accidently selected the wrong card on paypal! the purchase was only £4, but I am scared this will stop my 0% promotion? Is this the case? My minimum payments have been £25, will this change now on my next statement? My Card is with MBNA. Thanks.
