Dear daveg Did you get agreement to your instruction confirmed in any way and in particular if it was a phone call was it recorded? If you're not sure I suggest you ask mbna if it is recorded on any format whatsoever. Speak to mbna about the Data Protection Act and would that help you if necessary. AND if you get proof ask for financial compensation AND cash for stress etc. I have success in this sort of situation because I make it clear that I want cash not out of greed but because apologies have been so debased by institutions that they are an insult. The level of cash received, to me, shows the strength of their remorse. Cash hurts, profuse apologies cost nothing!

    MBNA - what a service

hi, how do i stand with mbna ,just after i took out a credit card with them i asked to raise my payment quite substantially to clear the monies owed quicker ,they said fine would be sorted , thought no more of it , due to circumstances i did not check my statements and now ive found out they have not raised it so ive been making minimum payments for way too long , have tried to get to talk to a human (if they employ any ) to find out why , no joy ,every number on every statement or mailshot doesnt give you a number to speak to a human , even the so called customer services number i found puts you through to a blooody machine. do you know of any humans at mbna that can talk to a very p***** off customer . any help woud be greatly appreciated . thanks daveg
