Sounds like you could do with a review. Contact the Citizens Advice helpline and see what they advise.

I think that would be best, as they can look into many different aspects for you.

    Re: Major Money Worries??

    Hi

We have prepayment meters for both the gas and the electric, as we were both out of work in the past and we are paying the minimum to cover the debt and what we use.

I have phoned up Anglian Water and was told we need to pay £20 a week to cover the debt and what we use.

There is myself, my husband and two children that live in a 3 bedroomed semi detached house.

We have cut back on the sky and do not have sports anymore, we pay around £50 a month and that includes TV, broadband and phone.

I need a mobile phone for work as carer and pay around £20 a month, pay as you go, I know I can save money by getting a phone on contract but as my credit score is low I am unable to get one, my husband pays £17 a month for his. My daughter only uses her phone occasionally and uses about £10 a month (pay as you go).

I dont go out anywhere, as you can see I spend all my money on the bills and there is nothing left.

I have my car tax and MOT next month.

I am thinking about giving up my job or getting rid of my car.

I dont know what to do??

Sorry your figures seem to be very ambitious to say the least.

I have a 3 bed terraced house in London occupied by 3 working people. The gas and electricity for that property a month is £120. How do you get through £150 a month?

My water bill is about £400 a year, yours is over £1000 a year?

Do you have SKY TV/Internet package? Mobile phones? Smoking? There must be things that you can cut down on?

    Major Money Worries??

    Hi Guys

Can anyone help as it is causing me alot of worry, stress and sleepless nights??

I work as a carer and my hours and wages go up and down each week.

They have stopped our housing benefit and reduced our tax credits.

My husband only does overtime some weeks now instead of every week.

The rent is due on Monday and I am £100 short, the landlord had already given us notice of possession three months ago, but the month after my parents lent us £100 towards the rent, because my daughter is starting her GCSE exams next week, the month after I paid all the rent as I just got some holiday pay, and then he withdrew it. Now I am worried that the landlord will want us out again!!

    We get paid weekly.

I still have the council tax to pay, spend between £40-£50 a week on petrol. £20 a week on gas, £15 a week on electric and £20 a week on water.

We spend about £100 a week on food.

My husband leaves everything to me and I have to pay everything.

I just don't know which way to turn!!
