    If you are comfortable with the risk, you should consider putting some of the money into one of the larger, well establishede UK investment trusts. With many of the larger investment companies, you can state that the money is to be held in trust until a certain date.

    Lump Sum for Daughter

    My daughter will be 18 (January 13). I have about £10k to invest as her policy matures.

    I would like to put this in an income bond (income to be re-invested for 3 - 5 years) to provide part property deposit.

    Any suggestions please.
