Re: Low interest credit cards for life of balance

    Hi Dave,

I am not reluctant to use "card tarting" just unsure about which is most cost effective.

    Confused

    Hi Robert,

We do have an excellent credit rating, just looking for the best way to cope with this, and of course the most cost effective!

    Regards

What is your reluctance with card tarting? Done properly it should be the cheapest way of doing it, and cheapest generally means quickest and easiest to repay.

Either of these cards would be suitable and you might also consider Citibank Life of Balance card. You'll need an excellent or good credit profile to get these cards - select 'smart search' to find out your credit profile for free.

Low interest credit cards for life of balance

    Hi,

I currently have a credit card balance of 6500.

There is no way we can afford to clear this in the near future, so rather than swapping between 0% cards every 12 months or so, and paying balance transfer charges, we are looking to change to a low interest for life of balance card.

I see from your site that M&S and Barclay card are both doing low interest for life cards.

Can you advise which would be best please?...also is there really no limit as to how long it takes to pay it off?....I am looking to treat it like a flexible loan, i.e keep the balance on there and not use the card at all.

    Thanks for any help

    Lisa
