    Loans with bad credit file

    Hi

I am desperately trying to secure a loan of about 15k to convert my qualifications over to the UK Std. I am a professional pilot. I have a bad credit file here due to my Lloyds bank account going overdrawn whilst I was away working overseas. Once I realised what had happened, I immediately transferred money into the account and cleared any debt.

The damage was done. My account was overdrawn for 5 months and Lloyds ridiculous charges took me past my overdraught limit. I owe no money to anyone and have no ccj's or anything like that except for this one black mark which is ruining my life.

I cant fund my studies, hence get back to work and Lloyds wont clear my file. My post was sent to my UK address, whilst I was working in Papua New Guinea for six months. They did not email once I had not responded to their letters because of being unaware. I explained the situation to them, but they will not budge.

My girlfriend transferred money into my UK account whilst coming over on holiday, to avoid the charges of using her Australian account whilst in Europe. Unbeknown to either of us, the money never went through and she used my account, thus it went overdrawn. It was an honest mistake and she cleared the debt, but Lloyds is intent on ruining my life with this file.

How do I get them to clear it or get a loan elsewhere. No high street bank will lend me anything now. Yes Loans took the brokers fee and never delivered, so I was ripped of that way as well. I really need help in sorting this problem out. The Ombudsman has told me this can take up to 9 months with them. Please help

    Chris

Re: Loans with bad credit file

In your situation you wont find a loan worth having. There are lots of conmen who will promise otherwise and take a fee but, without a guarantor, you wont get what you want. If you took time off your studies, you could probably save up enough to finance your course by working for a year in the Middle East.
