    Re: loan or credit card

If you are planning ot pay this off in 5 years then leave it alone. Transfering to credit card is not an option as they charge a transfer fee and after a year you will have to move the money again (another fee) or pay the credit crad rate which will be high.

You could move it to an unsecured loan but in all honesty you savings are likely to be minimum. The best advice to is to pay it off as fast as possible, this is the best way to save with any credit

    loan or credit card

Never had a credit card before and currently have a mortgate with Nationwide and a top up mortgage with them for £7000 (fixed rate finishes in June 2008). Will I be better off applying for a 0% credit card and moving the debt around when the offer runs out or getting a loan? I'm hoping to pay the debt off over 5 years or less.

    Any advice gratefully received.
