    Re: loan for £1500

Thanks to both of the above, I would not be able to take a loan through zopa as I dont earn 12k a year at the moment. I had a look on financial plus website and it looks ok, do they charge a fee and accept people who work part time? I have also been looking into blackhorse, a company called personal-loans.co.uk and another called unsercured direct loans. Any info on these? Im really starting to get stressed about this as I need the money soon and am starting to wonder if anywhere will lend to me!

    thanks

I got a loan from Financial Plus when my bank turned me down. Not the cheapest loan you'll ever get, but needs must when the devil drives.

Nikki, have a look at the Zopa site for 'loans from people not banks'. It is fast becoming a very good and growing option for many people in your situation. If nothing else the info on the site should be of future interest to you either as a borrower or lender.

    Good luck.

    loan for £1500

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me.

Im looking for a loan for £1500 Iv have tried my own bank but they said at this time they would be unable to offer me a loan (they didnt run a credit check though)

I have checked my credit file and there is nothing to bad on it, just missed payments on a phone contract from last year which was sorted out over 6 months ago. The only thing I can think of is my age is going against me (im 23) and also the fact I only work part time at the moment due to personal reasons. There arent alot of recent credit searches on it either only one from january and a recent one this month.

My question really is does anyone know of any banks/companys who lend to my type of customer? I have looked online and lots come up but most seem to good to be true. I dont want to use a broker who charges a fee, heard to many bad stories of people being conned.

    thanks
