Just wondered if any one has any experience of using black horse personal finance. I have made an application today and been told that i've been approved at an amount of just short than i needed but still a huge help.

Just wanted to know if anyone has used and what their process of paying out is, do they send cheque or transfer funds and how long does it take.

I used them I guess about 6 years ago, and at that point they sent me a cheque in the post, took about 3 days after I had completed application etc. Not sure how it would be done now though, maybe through bank transfer?

It gets transfered into your bank account (one that you have set up for your payments to be taken out of) and they say it takes between 3 - 5 working days. I got mine 2 days and on the Saturday!! they are really good!!

been told by them today that because we dont live in the property we have a mortgage on they cant help. Any suggestions???
