I can't find that information anywhere on the web. I would imagine that Letz Talk Limited (Leicester) and e2save.com are affiliated in the same way that a mobile phone network and any number of independent mobile phone retailers are "affiliated". They are certainly not part of the same company, if that's what you mean.

All I’m saying is if you downgrade your contract.. from what someone said to me is that you wont be entitled to any money you’ve paid till now.

Like ‘Abz’ said.. there are few of us that have been affected here so we should take it to court!!

Hi, I have also been affected by closedown of Letz Talk in Leicester. Like many of you, I am likely to loose a substantial amount of money, nearing £800.

I have been in contact with Companies House and Consumer Direct. Companies House informed me that they had a meeting with Master Wholesalers Limited on the 8th Jan and the director and secretary reigned and two new were appointed. This adds assurance that the company is still active and running.

Consumer Direct have suggested that a letter is written to both Letz Talk and Master Wholesalers Limited requesting for the payment of monies due. Write that they have beached the contract under the Supply of Goods & Services Act 1982 and that payment should be made within 14days of the receipt of the letter. Otherwise, that you propose to proceed with issuing legal proceedings. Explain the whole situation and how the matter arose. Post the letter with a certificate of posting (which is free).

If no reply, that we should contact trading standards east midlands.

If anybody still has the leaflet that Letz Talk gave out, with the information of the offer, e.g. The T-mobile Flex 35 deal...make sure that you retain the leaflet. I disposed of it a few months ago.

WELL, IVE BEEN STUNG ASWELL AS I HAD 4 CONTRACTS WITH THEM.
I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO THE PERSON WHO CREATED THIS BLOG AS I THOUGHT I WAS ALONE IN THIS ISSUE.

I CAN CONFIRM TO YOU THAT E2SAVE IS NOT PART OF THESE PEOPLE AS THEY ARE ABOVE BOARD AND OWNED BY THE CARPHONE WAREHOUSE, HAVING A CONTRACT WITH THEM ALSO.

HAS ANYONE AS OF YET FOUND OUT OR GOT CONTACT WITH THESE PEOPLE IN THE START OF THIS YEAR, I DESPERATELY NEED TO GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM AS I AM ABOUT £1500 DOWN!!!

yeah i did that about a week ago and they also did tell me that a load of people have filed complaints about this issue.

the problem is that i havn't had the time to post the letter yet, ill try to do it sometime this week but has anyone heard anything back from the letters, i have a gut feeling that were not going to get our money back on this one if the directors have changed although if we all stick together that should make it a more liklier chance of the cash back we were promised, even after we foolishly gave back the cheques to them, i ghuess we all live and learn.

anyway keep me updated as i will do the same to you guys out there.

Hi all,

I'm expereincing the same problem. After reading everybody's comments on the forum and speaking to trading standards, I've written a letter to both Lets Talk Ltd. and Master Wholesalers. Trading standard has also advised me to write to Vodafone, explaining the matter. I would suggest that we all write to our network service provider. Luckily, I've got the cheques as they never wrote me to return the cheques.

Has anyone heard anything from Lets Talk Ltd. after you've sent out the letters? Did anyone speak to Trading Standards after waiting for 14 days of dending the letter?

Hey im from belgrave my names Vishal, i have 3 contracts with them, im owed a total of £750, I noticed something was funny from the moment they changed their so called Bank account details and kept telling everybody to come back after such and such a date...

I also was told to come back on the 7th of January, I wasn't able to make it even though i just live down the road, but i guess there was no point anyway.

Please keep this thread going guys, its been useful and comforting to know im not alone in this.

Anyway, I happen to work in a post office, and the person who was saying to post their both brances, Is spot on...please Ask for a Certificate of Posting at the post office when you hand your letters into them, as there is no point doing recorded delivery as nobody will be there to sign for the letters...And please get in touch with Vodafone and lodge our issues with them also to push them, maybe we can all get our refunds from Vodafone? Please guys retain all proof of your contracts, Luckily my aunty has kept a photocopy of the last 2 cheques that she had for extra proof. They did us all in by asking us to give our old cheques into them. Cant beleive I got duped!

When you write to them, tell them they have 14 days to make the payments owed to you otherwise you will make Court proceedings. I will get help from my Uncle on the legal matters on this and let everyone know if theres more we can do....but im sure there is also the route of going to a small claims court?

These guys haven't gone bankrupt, i guess the legal route will have to do for now :)

Keep posting updates in this thread, and dont forget to send your complaints into Vodafone also!

I have contacted Consumer Direct and have been advised to write formally to my local shop to request payment. Will advise upon outcome in due course.
