Re: legal protection insurance, Minster Law, BISL, M&S.

Legal protection is a 'bolt on' by insurance brokers and insurance companies.
The average premium is about £30 per customer plus the internal referral
fees. You have no choice in which 'legal company' your insurance select and
therefore can end up with poor companies with no skill or knowledge. More importantly
they service the insurance companies far greater than they would you, after all
where do they get their work from ?
My experience via Marks and Spencer and BISL budget insurance, compare the market,
led me to THEIR chosen legal protection company , Minster Law.

We are now into December my incident was back in July, they have still not progressed the matter and have no
    customer care skill or interest.

It's only having googled Minster law that you realise how dreadful they are,
    ********************************************************************************
but good old Marks and spencer and BISL budget insurance still actively
support and encourage this company, despite the totally traceable appalling history.

So back to the original question about legal protection..........
Don't bother, the only people who benefit are brokers and insurance companies, remember you don't
pick your legal representative THEY DO !!!!!! and they get the commissions and referral fees.
Furthermore they are NOT covered by the insurance ombudsman service so why are they getting
involved in motor insurance matters, ooooops yet another 'in built' insurance loophole.

It's up to you. The legal protection is an option. Personally I do not bother.

    legal protection insurance

I have legal protection included on my car insurance, my wifes car insurance and house insurance. all which cost approx £30 each (total of £90 per year), do I need separate legal protection for each policy ? or can I opt for just one ie the house insurance has Family Legal Protection included and drop the personal legal protection from each of the car insurance policies ?
