Roughly speaking there are very few 'unhealthy' foods, simply because of the definition. What is certainly unhealthy is the amount that people stuff themselves with!

Obesity (in 99.99% of cases) is simply a self-inflicted wound. Eat what you need, not what you want.

Food, for a lot of people is like credit, it's there so consume it until it's gone, then worry about the consequences!

Landshark:Ever wondered why the owl is the symbol of wisdom and not the chicken? Ever seen Kentucky Fried Owl? QED SHARK!

In a recent survey of 100 Owls, not one owned up to having eaten at KFC.

It shows they must be brainier than the average KFC customer, or if not they don't give a hoot about Colonel Sander's recipes.

I think this calorie obsession is madness. Really think about it, you don't need to read on packaging to know if something is healthy for you or not. You should already know! Anything fried is generally unhealthy whether its frozen or not. Eating healthy is easy, no fried food, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and lean meats cooked well and slowly in the oven.

If it's weight then less carbs normally does the trick. Atkins is bad for you so it's just a matter of cutting down not cutting out! Also do not eat heavy in the evenings. So what out of all that do people actually not already know?? ;-)

I saw on TV Mccain oven chips are now seen as a healthier option coz of the low fat. You really have to understand calories etc coz food labelling is really tricky to understand

    Re: Kentucky fried chicken contents

Since when was a portion of meat wrapped in salad and bread regarded as unhealthy?

And there is nothing at all surprising with diet drinks being low in calories. (But sweet drinks being low in calories is not healthy at all - some reports suggest eating sweet food with an inappropriate amount of calories can cause serious trouble through confusing the body. Children (and adults) should really never be regularly fed diet drinks (or diet anything).)

Nobody (sensible) has ever suggested a meat burger in a bun is unhealthy. You haven't mentioned the calorie content of a pint cup of sugary fizzy pop* or the fat content of finely cut chips - the actual suspects in any (misguided) criticism of fast food.

    * and it's the size of the paper cup that is the problem. Nothing wrong with a sensibly sized glass of real-sugar pop.

And as Maxsteam just wrote, if you don't notice you've eaten anything you're going to be starving and will end up eating again.

    Kentucky fried chicken contents

Was anyone else aware that Kentucky now post their meals contents on their website ?

    http://www.kfc.co.uk/nutrition/nutritional-information/

surprisingly low saturated fat for burgers and chicken and very low Calorie content for Diet and Pepsi max ?

Maybe they can be classified as health food ?
