    Re: joint bank account

"joint liability" is not an issue unless you get an account with the possibility of going overdrawn.

Hi, you will suffer joint liability! Best to have a basic bank account like the Halifax Easy cash. To be honest not a great idea as what happens if one doesnt pay into the account one month???

Most banks will open a joint current account if you both go in with lots of ID. Quite a few also do club and partnership (business) accounts. I have been happy with Nationwide but the location of branches and cash machines will affect your decision.

    joint bank account

I have recently moved in with a friend to a flat. We are looking into setting up a joint bank account just to pay bills and shopping etc. We are only looking to pay in around £300 a month into the account in total. What is the best option? The online accounts seem like a good option but unsure on how accessible and user friendly they are. We wnat something that invloves minimum fuss.
