Divide the result by 1000.

1 mb = 1000 kb (or to be more precise 1024 kb, but 1000 is a fair estimate)

Are you using a router? Most modern routers come with an inbuilt speed test on their home page. Instructions on how to view your router or modem's home page should be in the user manual.

It will be able to give you a download and upload speed. What you're looking for is the download speed primarily.

1024kb = 1mb take your speed (in kilobits) and divide it by 1024. Then you have your answer.
