I have never had insurance in my own right. I have been on my partners insurance for three years and made a claim. We have a mondeo 53 plate (in his name), August is car renewal time

Because im a childminder my partner got a second car that needs renewing in november (alfa romeo GTV)

How can we get two cars insured (cheaply) so that we both can drive them? sometimes we are on the road at the same time

Is it worth changing owners and me getting my own discount?

because the claim was just under 2yrs ago they won't mirror the no claims on to the second car and my partner is collecting two no claims

No one will start a new policy until each ends(im sure thats what they said) and doing the compare sites will only deal with one car.
