In between finding anywhere.. to give yourself an idea, click on the Crimson coloured insurance tab at the page top then home insurance, then input all the details asked.

This should provide a rough idea of what to expect and who is offering the best prices. There are also useful advice guides that will help you decide what type of other cover may be beneficial for you.

    Insurance when renting

I'm looking to move out of home soon to rent my first flat with my partner. We haven't found a place yet (all the ones we like get snapped up too quick) but we know we're looking to move to a furnished one bedroom flat in the Lewisham/Greenwich area of South East London. I'm trying to draw up a budget and was wondering approximately how much a decent contents cover is likely to cost me and which companies would be the best to go with? I was also wondering whether as a tenant I'll need any other cover besides contents? Thanks.
