    Thank you Huckster.

No, i don't have Home Contents Insurance. Yes, I know increasing the level of cover is expensive and the ones I've seen on trough this site still do not cover for the full amount.

I did google it but could not find any that would insure both items. There are either for one or the other. Would be very grateful if you advised me of any specific one you know of, or if you cannot this, please let me know how to phrase my search. Thank you very much.

Do you not have a Home Contents Insurance in the UK where you live? If you have, contact the Insurers and see if you can extend the cover Personal Belongings cover so that it covers the items for the lenght of trip. This is usually the best way, as normally Travel Insurances do not cover much in the way of personal effects.

You can enquire with Travel Insurers and see if they are willing to increase the level of cover for personal effects. This may be more expensive option if they are willing to do this.

There is also a company that provides cover for gadgets worldwide. Do a google for gadget cover and you will find them.

Insurance for MacBookPro and Lumix Digital Camera

Please advise where can I get insurance for multiple items, i.e., a MacBook and a Panasonic Digital Camera. The Insurance must cover the items while abroad. I'll be traveling to Brazil for 3months, from 29/11/09.

Also, I'd appreciate some advice on whether a travel insurance for 3 months with enhanced cover for these items would be cheaper than buying separate insurances. Please indicate where can I get best quotes for the above, I live in the UK.

    Many thanks,
