    Indeminity title insurance

I want to remortgage my property and have been given an offer by a lender, however I can't complete without indemnity title insurance to cover the extra consildation costs borrowed.
Norwich Union no longer does title insurance due to the credit crunch, is there anyone else who can help me?

I bought my property from the council two years ago, however at the time my broker did not obtain a deed of postponement from the council, which is now causing a lot of problems.

I don't want to spend extra money finding another finanacial adviser, who charge silly amounts.

I'm sure there is a way around this without incurring extra costs

    Please help

    Re: Indeminity title insurance

Hi --- I have used a company called, "First Title" in the past, the last policy cost around a couple of hundred pounds and was for defective title indemnity cover... they do a range of indemnity policies including what you require, try them for a quote.
