Increasing the strength of your wireless router

    1. Position your wireless router away from walls and metal or electronic devices which could cause loss of signal due to interference.

    2. Changing the wireless signal channel/frequency may help as the current channel could be running on the same frequency as another device i.e. cordless phone.

    3. Upgrade your wireless adapter, the one you currently have maybe a slower speed which won’t send information back to the router as quick.

    4. Purchasing an Access Point will allow your wireless range to be extended by connecting this to your current router and positioning it in another location.

WTF -- Is this a technical advice forum for a ISP who has to post numerous, "how to" advice details on a comparison website. ?......... If you were worth joining, you would have your own reliable infrastructure in place..... instead of having to resort to this kind of pathetic action.!!!

Sorry you feel this way, we do have our own support section, however there is nothing wrong with posting advice and guidance on forums.

Re: Increasing the strength of your wireless router

It would be more relevant posting it on your own technical advice forum...surely. !

What are we to see posted next from yourselves.....a recruitment drive hoping to join people up to your service. ? or in other words....SPAM. !

Is that the image you would like ?....because it's certainly the image you are giving.!

    Hi

Point taken, these posts were intended to help, based on comments made in the various broadband posts, but I understand what you are saying. No further help guides will be posted, as we wouldn't want to give that impression.
