If you are on a good DMP then the company who you have this with should do what they are being paid for and deal with it for you.

Have you made them aware of this?

If you take out further credit you will break the terms and conditions of the DMP and also getting further credit out is never the answer.

Default notices are nothing to worry about if you are on a DMP because you will more than likely get them for every debt you have. Your DMP company should give you this advice.

i have debts up to the value of £5,000 with a few creditors .. i have now taken out a DMP to help sort this out. i got a letter the other day about a default notice which said i need to pay the account in full by 3rd march if not they will send people round the house for the money. this has worried me as you can guess.. the DMP have told me not to worry about the letter but it is .. the question is do i take out a loan to cover the full amount.. i dont know what to do . any advice would be grateful
