    IKOHI Telecom cashback

I bought a mobile phone 18 month orange contract from IKOHI telecom, Hounslow branch in June 2007. The guys over there promised me that they will return my cashback after sending first 5 months original bills. I completed all the formalities on time and never heard anything from them. When I tried to call them they were not there to answer my call. I tried several times and at one time I was able to get hold of them and guy over there told me that I'll be getting my cheque in next 3 days.

I waited for next 4 days then I decided to go to the shop but I was shocked to find that they ran away from there and now the phone number even does not work. There websites still work

    www.ikohitelcom.com and www.ikohitelecom.co.uk

I am thinking of making legal claim against them but not sure how to do it as they have run away and not trading. Could someone advise me in that regard AND ALSO REFRAIN FROM TAKING ANY CONTRACT FROM THEM.

    Thanks.

    Another one.

Oh dear; what a pity; how sad; never mind.

Literally thousands of cashback postings on this, and other forums. I suggest you read these for your answers.

    Re: IKOHI Telecom cashback

Hi, I am also a victim.
I have 2 contracts with Ikohi Telecom on the 3 Network. They owe me £367.00 on one line and £307.00 on my other line.
I took my contracts out on ‘24 August 2007’, but I was told by a 3 representative that 3 has not been trading with Ikohi Telecom since ‘17 August 2007’, as of this my contracts should have not gone through as 3 was no longer trading with Ikohi Telecom.

Can someone please suggest what I can do about this matter, I have contacted 3 many times to cancel or downgrade my contract but they say that they cannot do this as I have not completed the minimum amount of months.
If all the victims stick together and keep contacting 3, they will surely do something for us.
    Thank you.

    Re: IKOHI Telecom cashback

There are lots of victims of them as they were signing around 200 customers per month as per this link

    http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/Ikohi_another_cashback_dealer_goes_missing.html

I am sure we can do something about it. If anyone has any idea please post here. I contacted trading stadard and other organisations for legal advice but they came up with nothing.

    Hi Goldie25,

I have done what you have suggested and reported it to WatchDog. What complaint did you make against IKOHI. Also if you can update us regarding the progress of complaint.

I also do not want to get them away with my money. Please keep this forum updated about the progress.

    Thanks.

    Re: IKOHI Telecom cashback

I think mobile phone companies should also be held responsible for creating such loop holes in the system, through which their customers become vitims of fraud. I talked to three and they don't even sound concerned or even bothered. I hope the police gets the culprits soon!
