Simply put, if the Information Commisioner thinks a company is in breach of the DPA they will force the company to remove the information from your credit file. I am assuming the so called Regulatory Action Division is responsible for seeing this is done.

I have a complaint with a well known bank regarding data protection, i have been in touch with the ICO and they have informed me that because it is an alleged criminal breach of the DPA they will be passing on to their Regulatory Action Division for consideration. Anybody know what this may entail thanks
