    Re: ICICI HiSAVE account

Hi, just to let you know that I did receive a letter confirming deduction of income tax - also stating: This certificate is issued for the purpose of Section 352. It just didnt look like a 352 document, well not like other company's that I have seen previously.

I must also add that this was 10/5/2006 - not seen anything this year to date, but dont know when I actually received the last one.

Hope that helps - a bit

    352 I can't help with, sorry.

All easy access accounts I know of take two working days to pay money into a current account and three the other way. are you saying it takes two to three days longer than that? Thanks.

    Re: ICICI HiSAVE account

I have had a HISAVE account for 12 months. Moving money into and from my linked account has taken two or three days longer than I would expect.

I have been promised a tax certificate for 2006-7 on nine occasions since April 2007and told that this had been sent to me on five occasions.I need this urgently so that I can finish last year's accounts. I still don't have it. I have never received any communication from them by mail. Needless to say I am severing all connections with this bank. Has anyone else ever received a section 352 tax certificate from ICICI?

Hello on another posting on May 25 I compared iCESAVE and ICICI and said the former's efficiency and professionalism had to be experienced to be believed but I couldn't say the same of ICICI.

    ICICI HiSAVE account

Warning -I have experienced great problems with communication. I applied to open a Hisave account 10wks ago andd it is still not up and running. I made an error with my d.o.b. on the original computer application. In spite of many letters, emails and phone calls (never transfered to the relevent department in UK) and sending duplicates of my identity documents, the account has not yet been opened. To cap things, the company have sent me ,in error, somebody else's cheque. I requested contact on 26 May in respect of this and am still waiting.
