The site has never been that good, but I have managed to log on today and do a transfer. Just keep on trying and you will get there, but it is a slow process.

Yeah, I also managed to log on this morning and it was very slow. Since then the sites been down. Another thread states that it is only maintanence - we can only hope that is all it is!

It took 3 days to get money from the fixed term deposits, seems that they are just buying time until they get the liquidity.

It's been very slow lately but if you don't keep refreshing it does go through.

There are glitches. The most worrying one is when you go to your account and it is either showin a NIL balance or when you go into the account, it says Record does not exist". i have taken this up with them several times and they have yet to come up with a reliable fix but they ALWAYS come back within 24 hiurs, normally less and confirm all is well.

I did do a small defensive transfer out the other day and it arrived a day late. I didn't even notice it but the emailed me to apologise and credited my account with £50 for my trouble!

I think these guys are just fine ( or as fine as any are these days) and their S and P rating has just been confirmed. Panic not!!

Yes there were some problems yesterday with the site, but it seems OK now. I too was sweating yesterday!

I have 30K in the Hi Save fixed rate account for 1 year. Out of interest tried to transfer the funds but was blocked. Servise not available & no linked account (I did provide a linked account).

Has anybody else had this problem, is it because it's in a term account? I'm sure I could transfer out (though this would negate any interest I might have gained).

I just logged in no problems, did a small transfer to my linked account to test it, no problem, I think it must be because you have a term account, obviously everyone is a bit nervous a t the moment, myself included, but I have under the £50000 limit in all accounts now.

Just wanted to say the my partner's funds arrived in the account today (showing as credit on Monday) so big sigh of relief.

I don't think they will go bust, but I'd rather that his money was at the same place as the mortgage, so at least if it does go pop there is the legal right of offset.

Yeah, just got through to ICICI quite easily, cannot transfer out of the fixed term account. Have to just sit back and leave, at least managed to spread my savings to ensure no more that 35K (50K now) in each account. Ranging from A&L, ICICI, KE (Doh!), and NS&I.
